wow, i haven't posted on this thing in forever. ever since school started it just seemed like i never really had a chance too. but anyway, so how is everyone that is still doin this thing? bibay girl, so sorry that i haven' emailed you in forever....just sooooooo busy with all the usual stuff. hope everyone had a good xmas, esp. yang, and happy new year to everyone!
so what has been goin on in my life? i survived another quarter at clark college and got reasonably good grades. i was satisfied but could have done better. next quarter i am taking japn 102....i love that class...the teacher is soooooooo nice and she only wants to give you good grades! that totally rox! lately i've also really been getting into animes and stuff. i know you must think how lame but hello...i am azn so i totally have a right to luv and obsess over them. i'm also goin to be taking speech 101...i think that class may be the death of me...i just hope i get some good ppl in my class who i begin to feel comfortable with during the first few days...or else i may just suffer in that class and end up with a disappointing grade. but i have one of my x best friends in it. it will be an interesting exp. we aren't friends anymore...and i'm glad....it was time to move on from her...to make things short...let's just say that too much a good thing is never good. but some other ppl that i know will also be in the class so it should be ok. i'm also taking concert band again and college algebra. today my mom and sister went to the college bookstore and got my speech books. that is like the only book that i needed for this quarter! that rox because i didn't need any for band, math, or japn because i either didn't need anything or already had it.
so i have been sick for the last couple of days and had to call in sick for work. that was dumb because i hate calling in sick...but this is the first time ever that i have done it and i've been workin there for like 6 months. i ended up lossing like 11 hours and that is a lot but i'm goin to be getting a good pay check this week because i got almost 40 hours last week.
i had a great xmas. i mainly just got money and gift cards and stuff but is sorta what i wanted. i always have a hard time choosing stuff for myself. i still need to get julie a present. she got me this chinese carousel thingy....that was cool lol...it's sorta for a girl...but it was still cool...it's decrative(sp?). but yah it was great. we had an awesome family xmas party on xmas eve. i had to work until 6pm that night but i still got home in time to eat and be with family. i luv my family. we got my dad this awesome picture that lights up and makes sounds of the ocean and flutters or whatever. he's totally into that hawaiin theme. we got my mom a ton of gifts and she loved them all.
i have to GIVE total PROPS to my MOM and DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are the best parents in the whole world. they help me out with all fo my problems...esp...my MOM....that's all that needs to be said...they just ROCK!
so i applied to the university of washington, university of puget sound, washington state, and western washington! just waiting now for the letters and of course i am still applying for all those fun scholarships lol!
just to let everyone know i made it onto the public health advisory council and they asked me to be on the executive committee! that so totally rox because there are like only 3 ppl on it we and we meet with the chair to decide what we shoudl focus on and create the agendas and so forth.
well i'm watcing read or die right now and getting tired of writin so i'll talk to you all later! i'm still sorta dizzy and stuff~ o yah , everyone should go see meet the fockers...i luved it and the LOTRs rox! ciao everyone or sayonara!
